Who is TenZ?
Tyson Ngo is a 20-year-old gamer from Canada who began his CSGO gaming career in 2016. The professional gamer is known as TenZ, and he retired from CSGO n 2020. He has since moved to play Valorant as a professional gamer. Before making this career shift, the gamer played as a rifler and AWPer in his team. He is skilled and won several tournaments while he was still playing the game.
While playing CSGO professionally, TenZ used certain settings in the game that made him a better player. They boosted his performance and gave him a competitive edge over other gamers. These range from his hardware to the in-game settings he uses while he plays. Here are the settings he uses.
TenZ uses a Finalmouse Starlight-12 Medium mouse with a polling rate of 1000Hz. He plays with the Raw Input option to capture mouse movements easily. The mouse has a DPI rating of 800 and an eDPI of a similar level. These help him to navigate easily on the map and make turns without having to strain his wrist as he plays. These allow him to play for long hours and make him an overall better gamer. TenZ sets the sensitivity at 1 and the Zoom sensitivity at 0.8. These, too, add to an overall better gaming experience and allows him to use his skills better.
TenZ sets the scaling at stretched and the in-game resolution at 1280×960 as he plays. He uses the Zowie XL2546 monitor with a 240Hz refresh rate in the game, and it lets him have better visual clarity. These monitor settings also reduce strain on his eyes and let him play for longer. They have thus played a huge role in developing TenZ’s career in CSGO.
Benefits of using TenZ CSGO settings
- The settings will improve your accuracy.
When using these mouse settings, you can zoom onto distant targets easily. It also lets you adjust your positions in the game conveniently, and you can hit more targets. This will improve your accuracy rating in the game and make you better.
- Reduced strain on your eyes
The monitor settings allow you to look into it for a longer time without damaging your eyes. You can thus play for longer and see your targets easily. This will increase your hits and thus boost your game ranking.
- Easier navigation in the map
The settings make it easier to move through the map using your mouse. You don’t have to apply a lot of effort to make turns, and you can play for longer. This is very convenient when playing on a pro-level, as a sore wrist will make your accuracy poor.
